Authoring is the process of preparing your content for encoding to MPEG 2 (the recording format for DVDs) or MPEG 1 (the recording format for CDs). During the authoring process, we assemble the menu pages, titles, graphics and interactive functions into an easy-to-use, searchable DVD or CD.
DCA uses a state-of-the-art Sonic Solutions authoring system and DVD Creator encoding system. We also support the Apple DVD Studio Pro authoring system.
