Quality Control is one of the most important elements in the process of video duplication. Through the implementation and daily execution of numerous quality control procedures, DCA Media Solutions has created an overall System of Quality Assurance. This provides you with the job done right the first time, every time.
Quality starts with cleanliness. Video duplication's worst enemy is dust. The best tape, the best recording decks, the best check systems mean nothing if there is dust present anywhere in the process. Our tape loading is done in a dust-free clean room. Our record decks are cleaned and serviced in-house on a regimented schedule. No corrugated boxes (or any other packaging material for that matter) are allowed in our duplication room. Our warehouse is kept very clean and the floor is mopped daily.
At DCA, we have elevated Quality Control to a new level. All duplicated video tapes are checked using an off-line QC system. Off-line QC means that the tapes are not checked in the same decks in which they were recorded. This allows us to establish that the tapes are interchangeable and therefore, the tapes track correctly as they play across the video heads. We also check the RF envelope, over / under modulation, audio phase alignment, audio hi-fi, audio linear, and picture clarity. It's this attention to detail that clearly sets DCA Media Solutions apart from the rest; providing you with the assurance that your jobs are done to the highest standards possible.
